Hello Monday!!! We are counting down. We have 5 days this week, and then next week is Winter Break. Woo Hoo! How was your weekend? I’ve been feeling kindof icky all weekend. Fighting off a sore throat. I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. Friday morning, my sweet friend Cathy, brought me a coffee. <3 It was the perfect treat. Friday night, we went to grab some Mexican food. I forgot to take pictures to document. Saturday morning, we were up fairly early, at least me and Joey were with the pup. We started working around the house. Addison put Milo in her wheelbarrow…

Happy Happy Friday Friends!! Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. We kicked off our Monday with Donuts with Grownups at school. We were excited to enjoy this time with Addison at school. Monday after school, Milo had a pet appointment. He did so well, and the vet was happy with his growth and progress. I’ve had lots of Milo snuggles this week while I read at night. Last night we had a Family Engagement night. We transformed the Cafe into a Pizzeria. It was very cute! Before the school event last night, we stopped by Crumbl’ Cookie to get Addison’s…

Happy Wednesday friends!! Today, I’m finally getting around to sharing Part II of our Winter vacation. If you missed Part I, be sure to start reading here. Thursday, we woke up, went to breakfast, and we started exploring the area. We headed into the town of Blowing Rock to walk around. It was very cute. After walking around Blowing Rock, we headed driving down the mountain, toward Lenoir, to see the mountains. We rode out to The Blowing Rock. It was so neat! The views were amazing! Thankfully it was a clear day. We walked around some of the trails. Joey and Addison actually climbed to the top of the…

**Hello Monday** {2.5.2024}
Happy 1st Monday in February!! How was your weekend? I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. Friday morning, on the way to school, Addison talked me into stopping to get her a doughnut. She was excited for Valentine colored sprinkles. Friday evening, we ended up going to grab dinner and enjoy dinner and time on the patio. It was a little chilly, but the nicest day we have had. Saturday morning, we were back up early for our last regular season basketball game. These girls played hard. Even though we came out with a loss, the girls still had fun. I snapped a few…

**Hello Monday** {1.29.2024}
Hello friends!! Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Ours flew by… as usual. I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. Friday, we (Joy Club) had planned a Hot Cocoa bar for the teachers as a little treat. It went off very well, despite it being unseasonably warm that day. Can’t predict the weather. Friday night, we went to dinner with Joey’s Mom. Then, it was an early bedtime. Because we were up at 6, on Saturday, for an 8:00 basketball game. The girls played tough, but we ended up losing. I can’t believe we only have one more regular season game left. When we…

It’s Friday friends!! I am thankful for another weekend! Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. Monday, our school celebrated the 100th day of learning. Addison enjoyed dressing up as if she was 100 years old. I snapped a picture of the A team that morning. These two helpers helped get the laptops out to get testing prepared for the day. On Tuesday, we celebrated the 101st day of school with Dalmation day. Of course Milo had to be included in a pic. We had a lot of very important visitors yesterday that wanted to tour our school and visit classrooms,…

**Winter Break Vacation to NC Part I** {1.24.2024}
Today, I’m sharing Part I of our Winter vacation, which also happened to be part of Addison’s Christmas present. We left Tuesday, the day after Christmas, and headed to Boone, NC. Joey and I had never been there before, and we saw there was lots to see and do. It was a chilly drive up, and we ended up stopping to see the Nantahala river just to stretch our legs. The weather was very dreary when we got to Boone. We headed to the downtown area to walk around for a bit before we checked into our hotel. The town was cute. We loved the Mast General store. So many…
