  • **New York City! Girls Trip! Part II**{2.5.2025}

    Hey guys!! It’s Wednesday! Today is another long post. I’m sharing Part II of my girl’s trip to NYC! If you missed Part I, be sure to read it first here.  We pick right up with Sunday morning. Thankfully, Brit was feeling much better and able to jump right back in with all our things. I took a quick pic of the beautiful public library. I was sad we didn’t get to go inside.  We had tickets for The Top of the Rock, but we were able to get a quick group pic with the gorgeous Rockefeller Christmas tree and angels.  We were a little worried about the visibility at the…

  • **Christmas 2024 Recap** {1.8.2025}

    Hey guys!! Happy Wednesday!! Today, I’m sharing all about our Christmas gatherings! We are very blessed to have so much family.  I’m starting way back on the last day of school. I was able to snap a pic with the big guy himself. Santa & Mrs. Claus stopped by to say hello to all the students. They were so excited!  We were able to get in our ‘Christmas jammy Cocoa’ night. We grabbed some hot cocoa and headed on the search for some Christmas lights. I only snapped these two pics for documentation. Haha!  Sunday morning, we started the day with Church. I snapped some pictures before we left.  We…

  • **Hello Monday** {1.6.2025}

    Hello!! And just like that our winter break is over, and we are in 2025! We had a wonderful break packed full with so much fun! My plan is to share all about our adventures in a later post.  Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend, er last part of our break. 🙂 If you don’t take a fireworks picture, did it even happen? Haha!  We went to the movies on NYE and watched the new Mufasa movie. It was good, but I still prefer the OG- Lion King.  Mom & Dad came over for hot dogs and snacky food. Then…

  • **Hello Monday** {12.2.2024}

    Wow! We had such a wonderful, restful Thanksgiving break! We had lots of slow mornings, lots of movie watching, lots of creating and decorating! I am sad to be heading back to work but excited about the upcoming weeks.  Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our  week off.  I enjoyed many nights and mornings like this. We met up with friends on Tuesday and loved seeing everyone! We enjoyed a favorite lunch spot- The Fickle Pickle!  We headed to look at some furniture stores. The girls were not enthused. Caroline & I decided we needed to go back sans kids. Haha!  While…

  • **Top Five, Bottom Five: Thanksgiving Meal** {11.20.2024}

    Today I’m taking a cue from Shay at MixandMatchMama and doing a fun, little Top Five Bottom Five!  Today, since Turkey day is next week, I’m highlighting the Thanksgiving Meal.  I’m sure some people will shudder at my results. You’ll notice, I have no meat on it…  Here goes my…..  1. Mac n’ Cheese Now I’m very particular about my Macaroni n’ cheese. I don’t care for the Kraft or really even the Velveeta… I want a Homemade, extra creamy, extra cheesy good noodle. I make a Roux for mine and it’s divine to me. 2. Hashbrown Casserole or in other forms, Funeral Potatoes   This is also a must, and…

  • **Friday Favorites** {11.1.2024}

    No tired is like Halloween week tired. We have had dress up days all week along with a modified specials schedule and assembly. Thankful it’s Friday! We have had an awesome jam packed week!  Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. Monday, I had a county office meeting. My drive in was beautiful! Loving that sky!  I had to pick me up a little treat. That afternoon Addison and I headed to vote! Doing our duty as Americans.  We ran some errands after.  Tuesday was twin day! She was twinning with her little bestie, Isla!  Dance dress up days are a…

  • **A Few Festive Finds** {5.22.2024}

    Hey Hey Friends!! Happy Wednesday! I decided to come back here and share a few festive American finds to get you ready for Memorial Day Weekend and Summer.  How cute are these earrings? I love the star shape and the design is adorable.  Star Shaped Earrings I snagged this top last year from Amazon and grabbed it in Red and Navy. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted, so I got both. Why not? Ha!  I loved the little details. I will warn you, it’s a little scratchy around the neckline, but nothing I can’t handle.  I still love these white shorts. The length is great; the fit is great.…

    Happy Happy Monday, friends!! What a joyful time it is! Christmas is so magical around our house. Addison is so excited about everything, and I am trying to treasure it all!  Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend. Friday morning, Addison got some reindeer ears from her Grandpa and Granna. She was feeling extra festive on the first day of December.  After school, we ran to Target to grab some things. And, of course, grab some things that weren’t probably needed. 😉  Friday night, Elfie arrived. We had our annual North Pole breakfast.  We got brinner cleaned up and headed to our…

    Happy Monday friends!! I am back and rested and had a wonderful week off with family and friends!  Today, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend and Thanksgiving break.  Friday, a week ago, we left straight from school and work and headed north to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We were waiting for our friends to arrive. …

  • **Halloween Treat** {11.1.2023}

    Happy November 1st… now that Halloween is over, this is on my mind. I do want to share some Halloween treats that we made for Addison’s classmates. Addison and I made some Rice Krispy treats for her class. After melting and mixing everything up…. We spread them out on a baking sheet with parchment paper to let them do their thing. We decided to make ghosts and pumpkins. Addison helped me with the icing. They turned out cute, and her classmates were happy. I can’t let the day pass without sharing Sephora’s Savings Event! This is the time to get all the favorite things! It started yesterday and is going through…
