**Weekend before Christmas Recap** {12.23.19}

Happy Monday and Merry Christmas Eve Eve! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Surprisingly, it was sort of low key. We are about to get really busy, so today may be my last day blogging until Friday or even next week.

We started off our Friday evening with a birthday celebration for our sweet sister/aunt. We had a great time! Happy 13th birthday Emma!

We danced and hugged while we waited to be seated.

After we ate dinner, we rode around to look at Christmas lights in some neighborhoods on our way home.

Saturday morning, I worked on cleaning inside the house and Joey worked on doing some Elf work. I wrapped some presents, and we went to Church.

Addison made this sweet ornament for us at her Aunt Ci-Ci’s, so of course we had to put it on our tree. I love it!

Saturday night we went to eat and to look at Christmas lights. It started sprinkling/raining while we were walking around in the Village, but we didn’t let it get our spirits down.

Love these sweet faces as she looked at the lights. #throughtheeyesofbabes

SNOW!!!

She did a pony ride.

We got up and got ready for Church Sunday morning. It was yucky and dreary outside.

After church, we ran to the grocery store. I put some chili on, wrapped some last presents, threw some laundry in, and turned on some Disney +. It was a perfect afternoon to snuggle up and watch TV.

Tonight, we have Christmas with my parents. Tomorrow, we have two Christmas gatherings with Joey’s Granny and my Papa. Christmas morning, we cook breakfast for everyone. We will hang out and play here a while. Then, we will go to Joey’s Moms that evening for Christmas. Addison and I will leave early Thursday morning to travel down to Florida with my parents. We are going to visit with my Dad’s family that we haven’t seen in over a year. We are excited to see them and spend some time with them.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas spent with those you love.

xoxo
