**Air Fryer Review & Recipes** {2.4.2020}

Hey guys!! Happy Wednesday!! I was a little hesitant to jump on the Air Fryer bandwagon, but I feel like I’m completely on and riding smooth. My favorite things to make in the air fryer are veggies. Especially when it comes to crispy “fried” veggies. My only suggestion is to do the food in stages. You cannot layer the food in the air fryer or it will not cook thoroughly. And you must flip them halfway through cooking.

This is actually the model of my Air Fryer. It does take up some counter space, but I can easily push it out of the way. I put a link to Amazon, but I got it a few years back. It appears that it’s on sale on Amazon right now!

So, I made these squash chips last week. I actually mixed in zucchini with them because it is my preferred squash. They were easy to make but a little messy.

I would say my favorite vegetable side dish growing up and still now is Southern Fried Okra. Disclaimer: The real deal is not healthy at all. I found this recipe for the air fryer. It’s not quite as tasty as my Nanny’s, but it’s pretty close. 😉

Trust me, if you like fried okra without all the oil, try this recipe. I exchanged the Carbquick for regular ole’ All Purpose flour, but I’m sure almond flour could also work.

I made these Zucchini chips. They were delicious. Very crispy, and we can eat them like chips.

I have posted some more recipes to my Pinterest board here

If you guys have any tried and true Air Fryer recipes, please share them with me. I love to learn about new recipes, and am especially eager to make some more things in the air fryer. 🙂

Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you back here on Friday!
