**Hello Monday** {12.28.2020}
Happy Monday!!…. We are in that weird stage between Christmas and New Years when we don’t know what day it is or what to do… And there are toys everywhere. Ha!
Have you guys taken your Christmas decorations down yet? I usually do that right after New Year’s. It always makes me a little sad, and the house feels a little more empty.
This is me right now… 😉
Today I’m sharing what we have been up to up until Christmas Eve night.
The Sunday before Christmas, we had Christmas with Joey’s Mom. This was A right before we left our house. Why does she look so grown up?… 🙁
Sweet cousins… we love our Adalynn.
And it was also “Aunt” Emma’s birthday.
We had a great time, and it was great to have a little normalcy and a lot of laughs.
The next day, I had a doctor’s appointment. I made the most of the day, grabbed some lunch and ran to Trader Joes.
That evening, Joey and Addison put together a Holiday train she picked up at Lowes.
We got to see the Christmas Star.
Addison was hyper and all about the Santa hats.
The next day, Tuesday, my girl and I were twinning as we made a Starbucks and grocery store run.
We crafted
We baked…
Joey and I worked on putting the trampoline together before the arctic blast/snow arrived. Needless to say, we should have read the manual because we had to pull all those springs off and on about 4 times- not an easy task.
We went to dinner that night and had tickets to go see lights at one of the new light shows in town. We had the best time!
Christmas Eve, we slept in, a little, and decorated cookies for Santa.
We took presents around to the Great-Grandparents. Sadly, we didn’t want to risk taking anything into their homes, so we just dropped their presents at the door. It was sad because this was the first time we’ve not had Christmas Eve together in so many years. But, it was great to see them even for a few minutes.
On the way back home, the rain was turning to snow. A white Christmas. Such a little miracle and a blessing that we needed for this crazy year. Addison kept saying, “I just want to catch the snow on my tongue.” 🙂
We went ahead and gave her the trampoline, which was from us.
We had a nice, little dinner with just the three of us and did our presents. We usually do them Christmas morning after Santa, but it was nice to not be so rushed. 🙂
We’re going to Disney!! She was excited!!
We played with Snapchat filters and watched a Christmas movie.
We scattered Reindeer food……. 🙂
Put out our cookies, milk, and carrots… said our prayers and went to bed. I will share Part 2 of our Christmas on Wednesday, along with the last What’s up Wednesday link-up of the year. 🙂
