**Friday Favorites** {4.15.2022}

Happy Happy Friday!!! It’s Good Friday and Easter Weekend, and we are so excited about spending time with family and celebrating Easter.

Per the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing our favorites from the week.

I’m sharing a little bit from the beginning of our Spring Break last week and then some favorites from this week.

Last Monday, we started off bright and early at the Hospital for a minor procedure for Joey. All went well, and we were back home right after lunch.

Tuesday, some of my best girls came over and brought their girls for lots of playtime and lunch. We all had the best time! Addison was so excited to see and play with her friends!

On Wednesday of last week, we headed to the beach. I’ll share a recap of our vacation another day.

This week on Tuesday morning, Addison was scheduled to have an adenoidectomy and tubes put in her ears. If you live around Atlanta, you know that traffic is rarely good. That morning was no different, and we were stop and go all the way to the hospital.

We finally arrived and checked in. She brought her friend Cassidy with her. All the nurses and staff were so sweet and wonderful. They made her feel very comfortable and loved on. They even gave Cassidy a sticker and a cap to wear during surgery too.

Here’s our princess after surgery. She was still really out of it, but she did great!

Here we are! Finally back home. Grandma brought her ice cream, so she was really excited and feeling good.

She can’t go back to school until next Monday. So, I stayed home with her on Wednesday. She was into all the things. But overall feeling good. She was requesting food every 5 minutes, so pretty much her normal self. 😉

Yesterday, Addison was feeling well enough that Joey took her to her Easter party at school. They only stayed for about 30 minutes, but she loved it!

I’m also going to share some favorite finds lately.

I am horrible when it comes to remembering to clean my makeup brushes. I had seen this Brush Cleaning Mat and this makeup cleaner on somebody’s social media. I am so glad I saw it, because wow, it is awesome! It did an amazing job cleaning my brushes. It was really disgusting watching all the makeup wash out.

How cute is this lakeline popover shirt from Madewell! I love the colors and the style! And the material is super soft! It will be so cute to wear this Spring, Summer and Fall! It has a little bit of a hi-lo hemline which I love. Go snag one while you can.

Madewell Shirt / White Skinny Jeans / Tory Burch Sandals (size up 1/2 size)

Alright, the next outfit I have the same shirt paired with 2 different styles of white jeans.

The chiffon blouse is from Amazon. It has a really cute style, and I’m usually not a v-neck girl, but I’m liking this one. I loved this purple color, but it comes in other colors as well. It is a great price point at $17 plus you can add on an additional coupon to save even more.

I know I have talked about these Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans, but I wanted to show them to you with another shirt. They are so versatile and so comfortable. I even ordered a pair for my Mom for her birthday. Be sure you size down a size.

Chiffon Blouse / White Bootcut Jeans / Wedges

Here’s the chiffon blouse again with straight leg white jeans. Super cute here too! And, I show you a close up with the adorable puff sleeves.

Here is a closeup on the wedges. They are very comfortable with a stretch band. Even though they are a little tall, the wedge allows them to be comfortable.

Wedge Sandals

These Bow Flip Flops are so adorable! They’re made out of a rubber material, so they are easy to clean and comfortable. I’m all about comfort. They have arch support, so they really help with being on your feet all day.

Right now, some of my favorite Olaplex products are on sale at Nordstrom! I like to grab them and stock up when they’re on sale! These are the best products for your hair!

How cute is this set from Target. I love the color, and it also comes in a pretty purple and a tan color. The material is very soft, and it would be perfect for lounging in or even wearing in public.

Sweatshirt / Lounge Shorts

And, right now Target Shoes are BOGO 50% off! So, go stock up!! There are so many cute styles for the whole family!!

That’s it for today. I’m excited to read about your favorites from the week! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! It’s supposed to rain here this weekend, so we may be doing egg hunts inside. Thanks for stopping by!

Glad all the surgeries went well! My son had his adenoids removed when he had his tonsils out in 2nd grade… I always thought that was one surgery and kept tacking “and adenoids” onto the end of whatever the nurse was saying. Then the surgeon came into the room and started asking us all kinds of questions about snoring and stuff saying that they don’t normally take the adenoids with the tonsils anymore but would if we thought it might be warrented. After surgery he sought me out and told me it was a great call and that our son’s adenoids were HUGE and he honestly couldn’t believe they hadn’t been causing major issues right along. Your daughter is quite a trooper and I am so happy for her that she got to pop into her calss for their Easter celebration.
