**Friday Favorites** {5.20.2022}

We are almost there! I can’t believe that next Friday is the last day of school for students! Wow, the year flew by! But we are ready!

Per the usual, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing our favorites from the week.

Monday after school, we were finally able to make it to the strawberry patch! We were all so excited and ready!!

It was a little warm but perfect weather.

We had to have the strawberry ice cream. It’s always the best!

Monday night, Addison wasn’t feeling well. She said her tummy was hurting really bad. And she wouldn’t eat. (Unlike her)

Tuesday morning, A woke up with a slight fever. I stayed home with her, and we headed to the doctor to get checked out.

As we waited on some tests, she was finally feeling well enough to eat. Yay!! So, we made a CFA run. Nobody’s too sick for chicken.

We had field day all this week. Each grade level had a different day. Then, in the afternoons, grade level teachers competed. This was hilarious and great for the students and teachers. We all had so much fun! I think I laughed until I cried.

Thursday morning, we had out annual senior walk through our elementary halls. It’s when former students, who are graduating, come back to say goodbye, see their teachers, and have the Elementary students see what they can accomplish. It’s always a great thing and so inspiring for the young students to see.

Thursday afternoon, Joey had a minor procedure.

I ran to grab a bite to go while he got all ready.

Then, I got all settled in to do some blog work while I waited. All went well with the surgery, and he’s doing great!

I have some books that are great for reading at the end of the school year.

The first one is Last Day Blues. It goes along with the Jitter Series that follows Mrs. Hartwell. These books are extra cute and fun.

We love the storyline and all the pictures from And Then Comes Summer. It goes through all the fun things that can happen during the summertime, and we really enjoy reading this book together.

If you missed Wednesday, I shared our Summer Bucket List! Check it out here

That is it for our week of fun! We will be resting and recouping this weekend. Hopefully be back at it on Monday for one more week of school! Thanks for stopping by!

    The outing to the strawberry patch looks like so much fun! Great to hear all went well with Joey’s procedure. Coincidentally I am catching up on some blog reading in the waiting room at our local hospital just now. We are waiting for my son to be seen. We think he has a ruptured eardrum!
