**Hello Monday** {10.17/2022}

Hey Everybody!! We are back to Monday! We had an Amazing weekend! It was super busy, but we loved every minute of it!

I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday, our county had their Special Olympics. We celebrated and had a send off Parade. It was so sweet! They were so excited!!

Friday, we left right after work and headed to our neighboring county fair! It’s always the best!!!

We quickly got in, got our tickets, and she wanted to head straight to the Pirate ship. We had just eaten, so I tapped out on this one. It makes me queasy just on a regular stomach.

Their faces were cracking me up! She told Joey halfway through that she thought she was going to be sick. He told her she was just going to have to hang on, so she closed her eyes. Lol. And, she made it. Joey said he thought he was going to be sick too. That would not have been a good thing.

She rode lots of other fun rides. It was starting to get really crowded.

As the sun was setting, the skyline was beautiful!

She said the big slide was a favorite!

We watched the human cannonball, rode a few more rides, then left. We were all exhausted.

The next morning, Addison and I picked up Mom and headed to my little college town, Dahlonega. It was Gold Rush weekend, and it’s always so fun!

We met up with my cousin, Lacie, who still goes to college there. She also plays basketball for the University.

Addison panned for gemstones and got some pretty ones.

I still love this little town. It will always have a special place in my heart.

She begged and begged to go jump and slide, and we finally gave in. She had no fun at all. Haha!

We ate some lunch, grabbed lots of sweets and some ice cream. We all had to have an apple.

We had such a great day! The weather couldn’t have been any better! We didn’t really buy anything except food. Haha!

A fun girl’s day was had by all!

That night, Addison went to stay with Joey’s Dad. Joey and I had a little date night and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Pimento Cheese & Bacon Jam on my grilled chicken. Yes, please!

Meanwhile, she was having so much fun with Grandpa!

Saturday night, Tennessee beat Alabama, which was a huge deal in our house! My Dad is from TN, and he cried tears of joy! I saw this meme on someone’s social media, and I cracked up! GA you better watch out in two weeks!

Sunday morning, I worked on cleaning, organizing, prepping for the week, and some laundry. I went and picked Addison up, we ate some lunch, then headed to do some hiking.

It was beautiful and peaceful walking in the woods.

It was a little over 2 miles to an old quarry. One of the rocks that juts out looked like a frog, so Addison named it Frog Rock.

She found a horsey tree.

It was about a 4.2 mile round trip, and we were very proud of her. She didn’t really complain at all! We will call it a win!

We got back and headed to eat dinner with Mom & Dad. She cooked fish with twice baked potatoes and steamed veggies. When we got home, we did the normal baths, preparing lunches, and getting clothes out and ready.

We have a short week this week. Addison has a field trip on Friday, and I plan to go with her! So excited! See you back on Wednesday!
