**Hello Monday** {11.14.2022}

Happy Monday, Friends!! How was your weekend? Ours was packed full but oh so much fun!!

I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday, we had a wonderful Veteran’s day program and breakfast to honor any student’s family members who were/are Veterans. It turned out amazing, and it was great to see everyone and honor them!

Friday night, after such a busy and exhausting day, I was asleep about 9. It was heavenly.

Saturday morning, we were up early and at basketball practice by 9.

Addison’s birthday is on Tuesday, and she wanted to go to the Georgia Aquarium with Adalynn for her birthday. So, after bball practice, we headed toward Atlanta.

We stopped by the Varsity to grab some lunch, on the way.

I asked Addison to take a picture of us.

Of course, we got some bloopers in there too. Haha!

We arrived around 12:30, and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas! This was the first time I’ve ever been to our Georgia Aquarium, so I was excited too!

We were off to see some jellyfish and the shark exhibit first. They were really cool.

We left that area and headed to see Dori and some other really cool and creepy fish.

The girls got up close and personal with them.

After winding through, it opened up to a huge wall of so many sea animals and a coral reef replica.  The fish were very colorful.

We saw some little Nemos.

The next exhibit area was really cool. It had a walking sidewalk and you just went through a tunnel of all kinds of sea life- grouper fish, manta rays, a huge whale shark and so many other really cool fish.

Addison was so excited when she saw a sea turtle.

We left there and went to another exhibit. There were some red spider crabs. I would freak out if I saw those in the ocean in real life. They were huge and really creepy.

We saw some Beluga whales. They were showing off and putting on a show for all of us. 🙂

We saw some Puffins and Penguins. So cute.

I had made reservations for the 4D theater. I was so excited when I realized it was the Polar Express. The girls loved it!

Our next reservations were right after for the dolphin show. It was amazing! This was a favorite for sure! Those dolphins and trainers are so talented!

We left there and walked through the reptile exhibit.

That was all for the day. It was jam packed, and we all loved it! If you’re near Atlanta and want something to do, I would recommend visiting!

We snapped some pictures while we were outside. The temperature had dropped a lot while we were in there.

The girls were starving, once we finally got to the car. So, we drove a little bit toward home then stopped to grab some Mexican food. They were loving all the cheese.

When we got home, the girls headed upstairs, to the playroom, to start making a fort/pallet to sleep in.

Then it was dress up time which turned into snack/movie time.

They didn’t make it long… they had had a long, busy, exciting day. They were asleep by 10 and slept all night….. until about 7:20.

Yesterday morning, they were ready for some Hot Chocolate.

I’m going to end the post here. Last night, we went out to eat with the family for Addison’s birthday and had a wonderful time. It was very special!

So, I’m busy getting ready for the week and doing bath time and all the things that we do on Sunday evenings. I hope you have a wonderful start to your week!
