**Hello Monday** Mother’s Day Weekend! {5.15.2023}

Happy Happy Monday!! We only have ONE Monday left in the school year! How is that even possible?!?

Like the norm, I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Joey got home late Friday night, and we were happy to have him home.

Saturday morning, we were up semi early and getting right to work. He began putting my new patio set together. I worked on laundry and vacuuming the car. Then, I pressure washed the patio. He mowed the grass and did some weed eating. It was a busy morning.

Then, we were off for an afternoon meal to celebrate Penny for Mother’s Day! Joey was griping that he needing some shades. Haha!

We didn’t have to wait too long. Riverstone Corner Bistro is always a favorite spot.

We snapped some pictures on our way out.

We headed home and invited his Mom and sister’s family over for some homemade ice cream later. We hung out and relaxed out on the patio while waiting. I did some reading. The sun was pretty toasty, but it was nice.

I got no pictures of everyone at the house. Sigh. The girls played outside on the playset and trampoline forever. We just sat around and talked. We all ate homemade ice cream. The girls roasted some smores.

Then, we had set up the Projector (Majorly on sale right now!) outside and watched the new Peter Pan & Wendy movie. It was a fun night!

Sunday morning, we were back up and enjoying my coffee outside.

For Mother’s Day, Joey & Addison got me a Our Place Always Pan 2.0. I loved it! They also got me a spa certificate. They know me so well. 🙂

Dad & Mom brought me a beautiful Fuchsia plant for the front porch and some Macaroons.

We got ready and I snapped some pictures with my girl, the one who made me a Mama. 😉

We had brunch reservations at Garland Mountain Grill. It’s a beautiful restaurant overlooking mountains all around.

They had yard games set up. After our delicious meal, Addison and Mom threw some bean bags.

We snapped some pictures.

Then we went and grabbed the guys for a few.

They have clay shooting there. Addison wanted to check out the little huts. The men were enjoying the view.

We ran back by home and changed clothes. We decided to go do some trail walking. While we were walking, it started pouring down rain. All we could do was laugh. We were all absolutely soaked.

We stopped by Talking Rock Creek park, and the rain caught up with us there too. We decided we were done with walking outside for the day.

We dropped Dad & Mom off and headed home to get ready for another work week. But just 9 more wakeups with students! I can’t believe it! How many more days do you all have?

I hope you had a lovely weekend!
