**Friday Favorites** {1.19.2024}

TGIF!! Even though we only had a 3 day week, we are always ready for the weekend. 🙂

We had Monday off for MLK day then they called off Tuesday for predicted weather. 

Per the usual, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Monday, we were out of school, and we took up most of the day giving all our attention to Milo, our new puppy. We are all smitten. 

Addison and I headed to TJ Maxx to find him some toys, a bed, and anything else he might need. 😉 

When we got back home, I did a little breakfast prep for the week and made these egg muffins. Super easy! 

Penny and Emma came over in the afternoon and brought Adalynn to meet Milo. They had lots of fun playing and giggling with him. 

That night, we got word that we wouldn’t have school on Tuesday due to predicted snow/ice. So, Addison and I were excited we could get extra snuggles. Joey still had to go to work. Boooo! 

Due to not having to get up early, I poured myself a celebratory drink. Ha! 

The next night, we weren’t sure if we would have dance and basketball, so we went ahead and gave Joey some of his gifts early. 

Tuesday, I ended up organizing closets and cleaning all day. I literally never sat down. I had good intentions of reading, but that never happened. 

We did still have dance that night. 

When we got home, we ate dinner, then enjoyed cake with the birthday boy. 

Wednesday, we were back at school/work. Mom was able to come by and check on Milo. And send us update pics. I was cracking up. 

I have been so slammed at work this week, but I did take a short few hours to ride with Addison’s class on a field trip. Our zoned high school always puts on a play in the Winter. So, we headed over to see “Alice in Wonderland”. 

It was great! It amazes me how much talent these “kids” have. We all loved it! 

I grabbed these Blue Light glasses from Amazon a few weeks back and have been using them nonstop. I work staring at spreadsheets and schedules and working on meeting notes most of my day. So, I wanted to get some of these. They have awesome reviews!! These come in a pack of 2, and I got the Matte black and tortoise.

I also have been wearing my Ugg Ultra Mini’s on repeat. I ordered this 5 pack of socks, from Amazon, because I was influenced. Haha! They are great for wearing with the uggs and are so warm.

And that is all for our week! Short and sweet! It’s supposed to be another “Artic-like” weekend. We are ready for a warm up. We have basketball tomorrow, and I’m not sure what else we will get into. I hope you all have the best weekend! Stay cozy and warm, friends!

    That is a great week! Milo is so cute! We’ve had some cold weather and snow days this week, too. I find that my snow days are either lots of relaxing and reading or like yours, no sitting down all day! Hope you have a great weekend! Have fun with the puppy!
