**What’s up Wednesday** {2.28.2024}
It’s the last Wednesday of the month. I am linking up with Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer and sharing what has been going on with us lately. It’s a little food, a little family, a little what we’re wearing, a little what we’re doing, a little what we’re watching and a little bit of everything else all in one post.
I just love these posts!
1. What We Are Eating This Week:
Sunday: Beef tips with brown gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, mac n’ cheese (for Addison)
Monday: Chicken Alfredo with salad
Tuesday: Chili with toppings
Wednesday: Leftover beef tips and sides
Thursday: Leftover Chicken Alfredo
Friday: Out to eat!
Saturday: Kitchen’s closed!
2. What I’m Reminiscing About:
There are oh so many memories to share, but I’m really reminiscing hard about our Disney trip from last year. It was overall magical Even though it was….
The one where we all got the flu. 🙁
Here are all the recaps:
3. What I’m Loving:
I am loving that the days are getting a little bit longer everyday.
4. What We’ve Been Up To:
We have been continuing basketball this month.
We have been enjoying all the fun adventures with Milo. Some not so fun. Haha!
We met up with lots of friends during Winter break.
We enjoyed all the Valentine’s day fun!
5. What I’m Dreading:
I’m dreading putting on shorts soon. Whoa, my legs need some sun. I am also not excited about putting on a swimsuit anytime soon. Ha!
6. What I’m Working On:
I’m working on this blog post, some updating to teacher schedules and testing spreadsheets for students.
7. What I’m Excited About:
I am really excited about the little peek of Spring/warmer weather we have had.
8. What I’m Watching/Reading:
I have been busy, but I am almost done with The Frozen River. I was trying to finish in time for Shay’s Book Club. However, I didn’t quite finish in time. I have about 75 more pages, so hopefully I’ll finish soon. Even though this book takes place in the 1700’s, which is usually not my cup of tea, this one does not feel like it’s an olden book. Ha! If that makes sense. Definitely give this one a read!
Joey and I finally watched American Nightmare, on Netflix, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! He always doubts my choices, but was glad I picked this one. I told him that he should never doubt me. We always enjoy 20/20 and Dateline, so this was very consistent with that genre. I can’t believe this was a true story which made it more interesting.
So, this was a spontaneous choice to begin watching. It’s definitely mindless tv which is so great for me. I just started it, and I haven’t gotten far, but I am liking it. I know it’s been around for a couple years, so I’m definitely late to this show.
However, I had to stop watching Royal Pains and switch gears to the newest season of Love is Blind. My bestie, Caroline, texted me and said to stop everything. That I must watch now. I am only on episode 2, and I can already foresee it’s going to be good with some crazies in there. Ha! The best kind!
9. What I’m Listening To:
Some Pandora “Today’s Country Radio” and Beyonce’s newest “country” song. What do ya’ll think about it? Okay, to be honest, at first I didn’t care for it. Now, since I’ve heard it many times on people’s feeds Ha!, it’s definitely catchy.
10. What I’m Wearing:
I’m excited to start wearing these next few outfits now that the weather is getting warmer.
I have this teal top in the cream color. Obviously, I love it because I had to have it in this color as well. I actually am wearing it in the picture, on my sidebar.
I Love the exposed seam and the chunky feel. It’s flattering on everyone.

This Watercolor Ruffled Top is precious! It is a crisp material, so it’s going to hold its shape and not get droopy. It is a nice, thick cotton, so it doesn’t have much give. Keep that in mind. I stuck to my typical size. The colors in this are gorgeous!

How cute is this Black Linen Top! I love the colors, the ruffles, and the frayed sleeve. It’s going to be perfect to wear this Spring and Summer! And, I always tend to sway toward embroidery!

So, I was influenced 😉 and just purchased these Sam Edelman Platform slides. How cute are they! They have shipped, but I haven’t received them yet. I’ll keep you posted! They come in lots of color options, but I liked this “Eggshell” color.
11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:
I don’t really know what we have planned for the weekend. I think there is rain in the forecast. Maybe it won’t be too nasty. Or maybe it will, and I can finish my book. 🙂 Trying to think of the positives.
12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:
Next month… I guess just looking forward to warmer temps and being able to get outside more. We also start soccer next month, so that will be exciting.
13. Favorite Amazon Find:
So, right now, anything to help calm Milo is a favorite. I do have an upcoming Amazon finds post coming up soon, but here’s a fave right now.
We ordered him this new bed. He seems to love it!
14. What Else Is New:
Nothing that I can think of. I think that pretty much covers it.
Thank you all for reading. I hope you have an awesome day!! See you back here on Friday!

SO much drama on this season of LIB! I cannot wait for the wedding(s) episode to air, and even more so, the reunion!
