• **Fall Break Vacation Recap** {10.6.2021}

    A few weeks ago, during our Fall Break, Addison and I went with my parents to Florida. Today, I’m sharing all about our trip.  My Aunt Linda, Uncle Dennis, and cousin Kathy live there. We haven’t visited them since pre Covid, so it was good to actually see everybody.  The weather started off pretty yucky. Addison begged my Mom to put some beads in her hair. She, of course, obliged.  That evening, we met my cousin Kathy and my Aunt Linda for dinner to eat seafood. One of my favorite things about the beach.  Giving her the stare as we drive in the truck. All she wanted to do were…

  • **Hello Monday** {10.4.2021}

    Well, Hello Monday. Wow, the weekend really flew by. Most things do when you’re having fun.  We left right after school/work on Friday and headed North, to the mountains, to go camping for the weekend.  Friday was Halloween Pajama day at Addison’s school. These pj’s are the softest. I wish they came in my size.  While standing at car duty Friday morning, the sky was beautiful.  We really enjoyed this campground. It was very well maintained. The bathrooms were very nice and very clean. Addison enjoyed the playground and riding her bike. Of course, I got no pictures of our campsite or camper all set up. #fail We went camping…

It’s a big festival put on by the Service League. It’s all to benefit the children of our county and help with so many things. It’s always so much fun, and…

  • **Hello Monday** {9.27.2021}

    Hey Hey Monday! I’m back today after a nice, long week off! Addison and I went along with my parents to Florida to visit some of my Dad’s family. We had a fun little trip.  Today, I’m sharing some fun we had this weekend. I’ll share about our trip in another post.  We got home late Saturday night from our trip. We had a busy day yesterday. We went to church, went to a Fall Festival in our little town that we always enjoy, grocery store, laundry, cooked dinner, then baths and got ready for the week.  Anyway, I had all intentions of sharing from the festival, but my pictures…

  • **Friday Favorites** {9.17.2021}

    Well, our week did not start as expected, but I will get into that in a minute. Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing all about our favorites from the week!  🙂 Sunday night, Addison went to bed with a fever. I gave her some Motrin and thought, fingers crossed, she will be better in the morning. Well, Monday morning, she woke up with a fever of 103. So, no school for her and off to the doctor we went. She was pitiful.  It’s a really long story after that. The doctor tested her for strep because her tonsils were so swollen and had the white spots…

  • **Fall Bucket List** {9.15.2021}

    Happy Wednesday ya’ll! I am kicking off today by sharing our Fall Bucket List. I always love doing one of these with out family, so we make sure we cram as much family fun is possible.  Ya’ll, the weather in Georgia is currently like this, but I’m really trying to resist putting on my sweaters and scarves.  Here’s a generic bucket list that would be great for anyone to do and enjoy.  I sat down with Addison this past weekend. This is what she came up with. Looks pretty good to me.  I would also add:  Burn a fall candle, like this one Wear a cozy soft sweater, maybe like this…

  • **Hello Monday** {9.13.2021}

    Hello Monday! I am down and ready to tackle this 5 day week. How was your weekend? Ours was filled with some Fall fun and a lot of celebrating!  Friday night, we had to run over to a house my Aunt and Uncle are flipping. They’re like the next Chip and Joanna of the Waleska area. Ha! They wanted Joey to look at the furnace/heat & air unit to determine what needs to be done. I should have taken a picture, so I can compare the before and after. And then share the  final project when they are finished. They’ve done a total gut job of the place. I know…

We were up early making curls. This girl was so happy! Sweet girl in a dress is a favorite.  I had called and gotten the gourmet ice truck to come to our school to spread a little Friday Joy. This amazing Sonrisa was definitely a favorite! I could have one of these everyday. Delicious! We had plans to meet up with some of our friends…

  • **Let’s Look at….Meal Planning** {9.8.2021}

    Hey guys! Happy Wednesday! Today I’ve got a fun little link-up post for you. I’m linking up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything and talking about all things meal planning.  I typically start planning the next week’s meal the week before. I try to have everything planned by Thursday, Friday at the latest, so I can run to the grocery store on Friday after work.  I typically peruse through different cookbooks, family recipes,  Websites/Pinterest, or even social media like Instagram, to find some things that sound good. I really try to change it up, and don’t typically make the same things often.  *************************************************** One of my favorite places to look for…
