**Friday Favorites** {5.22.2020}

Happy Friday!! Happy Official Last Day of School!  The report cards have been posted, the IEP progress reports have been finalized, and everything, for the most part, has been wrapped up for this crazy year.

Today I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing some of my favorite things from our week!! 🙂

A big favorite for this teacher was this….. We had a 5th grade farewell parade one evening this week. It was so good to be able to say goodbye and good luck to these sweet students as they go on to Middle School. It was also great to see some of my teacher friends. I sure do miss everybody!! Weirdly, the weather was in the 50’s that night. It for real didn’t feel like the end of school, more like Fall weather. #crazyweather

Dance class was a favorite this week. Addison’s dance videos have been recorded for the past two months. This past week, it was live on Zoom. It was so sweet and quite humorous trying to get 3 and 4 year olds to focus not roll around on the floor. 😉

I was on the side trying to mimic the teachers. So funny!

My bestie, Caroline, over at Dramaticinthebestway told me about PopSugar fitness channel over on YouTube. If you’re looking for a great, quick workout then check out their videos. I love that there’s no equipment required, the count-down clock, and that I get a great workout. #feeltheburn Addison also enjoys jumping in and doing them with me.

We ate with my parents on Sunday. Addison’s favorite was the German Chocolate cupcake for dessert. Haha!

A non-favorite this week was when Addison face planted on our sidewalk and got two big scrapes on her knees and feet.

Anyone else!??

Feet in the sand was a favorite. Even if it was Kinetic. 😉

With being outside more, Addison and I get eaten alive by Mosquitoes. They love us! I ordered this all natural bug spray for us.

If you missed my post from Wednesday on what we are eating this week, check it out here. I always love inspiration for new things to cook.

I just started watching “Sweet Magnolias” on Netflix this week. It takes place in a sweet, southern town, Serenity. The story revolves around three close  girl friends. I’ve only watched Episode 1, but I’m liking it a lot so far.

There are some big sales going on right now. I did get Addison some swimsuits at Target the other day. They were BOGO free. I know Loft and Matilda Jane also have some great things going on right now!! 🙂

As for today, I’m heading to the chiropractor. I fell down our basement steps last Saturday. Luckily only the bottom few. I don’t even know what happened. sigh…. All I know is I now have a huge knot and bruise on one side of my bottom. My left leg went underneath me and I broke my third toe. I think I jarred my neck/back when I hit. I have had some neck pain and a dull headache since I fell, so I am finally giving in and hoping the chiropractor will be able to help me. #imclumsy #grace

We don’t really have any big plans for Memorial Day weekend. I wish we did. The weather isn’t looking too favorable with rain moving in. We will probably be busy working on getting the camper ready for our beach trip in a few weeks. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I am very grateful and will always remember those that served and died for our country. God Bless America!

xoxo
