**What’s Up Wednesday** {9.30.2020}

Happy Hump Day!! It’s the last Wednesday of the month. On this day, I join Mix and Match Mama and Sheaffer. I share a little bit of everything that’s been going on with us lately. I seriously can’t believe it’s the end of September already. The beginning of 2020 felt like it would never end…. yet here we are knocking on October.

1. What We Are Eating This Week:

Sunday: Mini Meatballs, Lima Beans, Candied Sweet Potatoes, Fried Squash

Monday: Chicken Tortilla Soup

Tuesday: Ham, Mac n’ Cheese, Baked Beans

Wednesday: Eating Out

Thursday: Leftover Soup

Friday:  Ribs, Mac n’ Cheese, Baked Beans

Saturday: Kitchen’s Closed, Eating Out!

2. What I’m Reminiscing About:

These sweet pictures popped up in my memories from 3 years ago at the Apple orchard. She was so little.

Two years ago during our Fall break we went to Disney World. We had so much fun despite the crazy crowds and 100+ temperatures. Even though Addison was not quite 2, it was such a great, magical trip.

Loved this excitement!

3. What I’m Loving:

I’m loving this Fall weather! The cooler temperatures have been wonderful. Perfect for snuggling under a blanket and eating soup.

Did you see my new Fall banner I got from Amazon. It was perfect to add to our decorations.

I had been reading people rave about these Goli ACV gummies. I was intrigued because I know about all the benefits of ACV but don’t love the taste. Mine came in a little over a week ago, and I really do feel energized and detoxified. 🙂 They have over 65,000 reviews at over 4.5 + stars, so you know they have to be good!

4. What We’ve Been Up To:

Despite 2020, we have been trying to still have as much fun as possible.

We went to the Apple Orchard. You can read about it here

We have been camping a lot this month. We went to the mountains over Labor Day weekend and had a blast. Check it out here

Last week we went to the beach for our last summer hoorah! Check out Part I from Monday. I’m talking about the rest of our trip on Friday. 🙂

5. What I’m Dreading:

I’m not really dreading anything right now. 😉

6. What I’m Working On:

I’m working on our budget for next month. I keep having to remind myself of this… Ha!

7. What I’m Excited About:

I’m very excited about doing all the Fall Fun festivities…. like the pumpkin farm. Our fair isn’t coming because… Covid, but we are hoping to hit up a bunch of pumpkin patches and do some other things on the list below. 😉

8. What I’m Watching/Reading:

I have been watching Selling Sunset on Netflix. I love watching on my phone while I get ready in the morning.

I’m super excited about Southern Charm coming back on next month. However, I know it just won’t be the same without Cam. And I’m not a Madison fan at all, so pretty bummed about the cast.

What else should I be watching?

I read Emily Giffin’s The Lies that Bind this month. It was interesting to say the least. I really liked the beginning. I really liked the ending. The middle was a little slow to me. The ending has a huge shocker! I’m talking a big surprise! Just get ready…

My favorite book this month was In Five Years by Rebecca Serle. This book was so well written. Dannie lives by numbers and thinks she is in love and in a great place in her life. However, one night, she falls asleep and has a very realistic dream that occurs in 5 years. She cannot shake off this dream. Her best friend is nothing like her and their lives intertwine over the next 5+ years. This is an unexpected love story, and I think you will definitely enjoy it as much as I did.

I just started Book of Lost Friends by Lisa Wingate. I absolutely loved her book Before We Were Yours and was very excited about reading this one. However, I’m almost 100 pages in, and it’s very hard to follow. I’m really struggling with this one… Tell me did anyone else feel the same way? Tell me it gets better?

What should I read next?

9. What I’m Listening To:

I have been listening to a lot of calming music lately. I need it in my life. Ha!

10. What I’m Wearing:

This Z Supply Sweatshirt is so super soft and comfy that everyone needs it in their life. I wore it on the beach last week when it was cool, and it was the perfect weight.

Here it is at Mint Julep / Here is a similar one on Amazon

So, I’m usually not a sweatshirt type of girl…. But with being quarantined so long, I’m all about some cozy. This tunic sweatshirt from Old Navy is really calling my name.

This cardigan from Amazon is giving me all the Fall vibes right now.

11. What I’m Doing This Weekend:

We have a few things planned. We bought a new camper last week. So, we will be cleaning out our old camper. We have some friends coming to look at possibly  hopefully buy our old camper. It’s in great condition, so we are hopeful. Fingers crossed. We don’t need 2 campers. 😉

12. What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month:

We have a camping trip planned to the mountains one weekend next month. I’m excited about seeing all the changing leaves and spending time outdoors.

13. What Else is New:

I can’t really think of anything else right now. 🙂

Thank you all for reading. I truly am thankful for all of you! I hope you have an awesome day!! See you back here on Friday!

xoxo
