**Hello Monday** {3.29.2021}

We are on the countdown to Spring Break…. 5 days!! Does anyone else have Spring Break next week? We are ready!

I’m sharing a recap of our weekend. I hope you all had a great one as well! 🙂

Friday, Mom picked up Addison at school. I ran to Publix real quick because I was alone… #holla!

I got home, threw some clothes into wash, unloaded the groceries, then ran outside to help Joey wash the camper. We are going camping in a couple weeks, so we have lots to do to get it ready.

That night, we went to pick up Addison, ran through the drive thru, and had an early bed time. #fridaynighttired

Saturday morning, we slept in. Joey went out to put some treatment on the camper. I started cleaning and doing more laundry. Addison played.

We had a birthday party to go to… one of the sweet friends in her class. We were so thankful the rain and storms dissipated, so we could party! We had a blast!

After the party, me and A headed to Target. We got home and I mopped the floor while she played in the backyard. While I’m mopping, I hear her on the back porch saying “ants, Mama”. I run out and start throwing off her shoes and brushing her legs. She got stung about 8 times. 🙁

I put some Benadryl cream on her legs, and then laid her down for her nap. When she got up, her face was all swollen and splotchy. Her head and body were all itchy… I gave her some Benadryl and just kept watching her. It did go down some, thankfully.

We called the on-call nurse, and they said to go ahead and bring her in to urgent care.

They ended up prescribing her a steroid, told us to continue Benadryl through the night, keep putting cream on the bites, and prescribed an epi pen. Thankfully, it wasn’t worse.

One of my favorite trees is a weeping cherry… My parents have one in their backyard, and right now, it’s beautiful!

We have one too, but ours is very tiny and only has a few blooms. I know one day it will make it to this level…

They also have a Redbud that is very pretty right now too. I don’t like the pollen, but I do enjoy looking at all the pretty blooms on the trees and flowers.

I finally was able to get the new girlfriend jeans from Wit & Wisdom… and I really like them! Now, I’m not going to give up my skinny jeans, but these are nice to throw in the rotation. Like all Wit & Wisdom jeans, I did order a size down. Right now, it looks like most sizes are sold out, but just keep watching… That’s what I did, and they’ll come back in stock. 😉

We went to Church yesterday morning. The weather was pretty cloudy and rainy, so yesterday afternoon we did a lot of Netflix watching and reading. Addison and Joey napped.

That’s it for today…. I will see you back here on Wednesday for our monthly recap. 🙂

So sorry to hear about the ants and the epipen! Otherwise it sounded like a fun and productive weekend. That weeping cherry tree is beautiful!

Oh my gosh, I want to ask you so many questions about washing your camper! 😂 We have had ours for, I think we are coming up on 3 years, and haven’t washed it yet. I have told Joe so many times I wish there was a car wash for them!! Looks like you guys got a big brush?

Poor Addison!! I’m sorry to hear about the ant bites. ☹️

    Those trees are gorgeous!

Yes, ask away! My husband, Joey, usually climbs on the roof to treat/wash it first. Then, I wet it with a pressure washer, he washes it using the long brush, and I rinse it. We do try to treat it and wax it too, every so often to help preserve the siding and roof. That would be awesome if there was a big car wash! Let me know if you have any other questions. We are going camping in a few weeks.
