**Hello Monday** {1.23.2023}

Happy Monday Everybody!! Wow, January is a long month! I am ready to move on to a new month.

I’m linking up with Holly and Sarah for Hello Monday and sharing a recap of our weekend.

Friday was the 101st day of school, so Addison dressed as a Dalmatian for the day! Cutest Dalmatian!

Friday, at my school, we had a field trip to the local high school for a production of Willy Wonka Jr. Teachers chaperones are ready. Love working with great friends!

Loaded up and headed out. Riding in the back of the bus. The high school kids did a great job.

That night, we stayed at home. We were all pretty exhausted. I made chili dogs, we watched some tv, and got in the bed semi early. Because we were up around 5:30 getting ready for a 5k to support a local young lady who lost her life tragically this past year. It was wonderful seeing so many people come together and honor her life.

It was cold ya’ll.

The theme was centered around Dr. Seuss. She was in college, working her way to becoming an Elementary school teacher. She actually did some observations and volunteer work at my school.

Addison loved all the props and characters.

And we even got to see her little cousin, Sierra, and she loved playing around with her. She’s a little doll.

The race started… it was me, Mom, Addison and Aunt Dot. I got to see my office mate Bree, and her sweet baby boy, Miller. He is so adorable! I just want to squeeze him.

This girl stayed right with us and only complained a few times.

Mom won a medal for her age range. We were cracking up but also excited for her.

After the race, we ran to Target to grab some things. Then headed home to rest for a little while.

For dinner, we had a gift card for Texas Roadhouse that we got for Christmas. We love gift cards!

After dinner, we did some shopping. Joey wanted to look for some things in REI. Addison enjoyed a little bit of climbing.

Yesterday, we got up and went to Church. We ran to the grocery store after. The weather was chilly and yucky rain. I worked on a little weekly meal prep. I finally took down the Christmas tree. (It makes me so sad) And I worked on some blog posts.

Mom cooked dinner, so we had dinner with her and Dad last night. Then it was time for baths and getting bags ready for the week. We have a busy week with lots of things scheduled on the calendar.

I’ll see you back here on Wednesday for my monthly round up… Thanks for stopping by!
