**Friday Favorites** {6.2.2023}

Happy first Friday of Summer break! I’m so happy to see you! We were all ready, and now we are ready to have all the fun! However, I want it to go sloooooooow!

Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week.

Last Saturday night, Addison and Joey were being silly as usual.

Sunday morning, we were up early and off to Church. I just got this By the Sea Knit Cardigan, and I love it!! It’s so soft and versatile. It will be great to throw over shorts or even wear as a coverup.

After Church, we decided to go exploring. We headed about an hour away to Sawnee Mountain. It’s the first time any of us had been there, and we all enjoyed it very much.

The trails were great! They even had this cute Fairy trail that had little fairy houses placed throughout the little path.

We even saw some caves. About a mile and a half in Addison started complaining. The weather was perfect with very little humidity. Thank goodness.

We made our way all the way up to the Indian Seats and enjoyed the view.

Another cave and a horse tree. Overall it was about 4.5 miles. It was a great free family activity that we all enjoyed.

We rushed home, and I started working on burgers for dinner.

Joey and Addison were planning for a campout, so they started working on tent prep.

After dinner, we enjoyed some outdoor time. We made smores and lit sparklers. It was a nice night.

They headed to bed, and I headed inside for some reading time. It was a beautiful thing! 😉

Tuesday and Wednesday, I had post planning days. I love this EIP crew of mine. Sad to see Megan leave us, but at least she will still be in the building in Kindergarten. We have had so many laughs this year!

Wednesday, I finished work around 1:30. Addison and Mom met me at the pool. It was the perfect way for me to kickoff the start to my summer!

She spent the night with Penny Wednesday night. I enjoyed some quiet time relaxing and reading outside. I finished All Good People Here, and if you’re looking for a thriller with a lot of twists and turns, this one is for you!

Yesterday, Penny, Cindy, Emma, the girls, and I all headed to see “The Little Mermaid”. It was so good! We all gave it two thumbs up. I did tear up a few times.

Last night I met up with some high school friends. I hadn’t seen or hung out with Megan since my wedding, which was over 10 years ago, so it was well overdo. We sat, caught up, laughed so much, and had the best time! So great to see her and Shannon!

Then I got home and had the fort mess. LOL

On Wednesday I shared what all we have been up to in the month of May. If you missed it, check it out here. 🙂

That’s all for today and our week. We have my Papa’s 93rd cookout party tonight. Super excited to celebrate him and see lots of family! Have the best weekend friends!
