Happy Friday!!! and Happy first day of September!! So happy for the three day weekend! 🙂

Joey has been busy working on some things on our patio. He’s starting to build a cover for the stairs.Â
They also delivered the brick, so they’re about to start working on our fireplace! I’m so excited about this~ especially for Fall!Â
Early morning snuggles and time with my girl are a favorite!Â
A coworker was absent and needed her cart moved. Addison graciously took care of moving it to a better spot for her.Â
Ha… Laurie & I are getting Bree back from last week. She left her walkie out with us during a teacher training. This was hilarious! Love these two ladies!Â
We had to run to Target yesterday to look for Addison a team shirt for game day today. We finally found one!Â
Yesterday, they started pouring the footers for our outdoor fireplace. 🙂Â
We had some delicious meals this week, and they were easy which is always a favorite!Â

Please friends, say an extra prayer for one of my teacher mama friends, Megan and her three children. Her and her three children were in a horrific accident this past Sunday. The reckless driver hit them from behind going 100 mph which put them in a tailspin and down a large embankment and hitting large trees head on. They are all banged and bruised and are so thankful to be alive. Their oldest son has the toughest road to recovery. Please pray for comfort and strength in the next weeks to months for them all.Â
Now for a little lightness….. These all had me cracking up and agreeing. So true. 😉Â

Looks like a great week! It is so fun to have your kid at school with you. I found that my guys loved helping out, too. Sending prayers for your friend and her children. I am so glad they are ok and on the road to recovery. I can’t wait to see your finished fireplace. Have a great weekend!
