• **Friday Favorites** {1.21.2022}

    Happy Friday!! How was everyone’s week? We had a four day week, and it still felt really long. Anyone else? Per the usual, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing all about our favorites from the week. Monday, we rode around a little bit, just around where we live. We drove up to an overlook but didn’t really see any more snow than what we had at our house.  Monday night I made Paula Deen’s potato soup. It was perfect for a cold night. A cozy soup was a favorite this week.  Tuesday was tie dye day at Addison’s school. She was looking fashionable in her tie dye.  A had…

  • **Weekend Recap** Concert & Birthday Celebration {1.19.2022}

    Happy Wednesday!! We had such a good, long, relaxing weekend. I hope you all did too. Today, I’m recapping what all we did.  Friday night, we just hung out at home and were in bed by 9. Great night to me! Saturday morning, Addison was up at 6:15. No sleeping in around here. I got right to work cleaning and doing laundry. At one point, I caught her in her room, dressed up as Anna, from Frozen, and reading.  At one point, I stopped cleaning and ran to pick up a Monogrammed shirt I had made to match her Matilda Jane pants. Then headed back home.   While working on some…

    Hello Everyone! I can’t believe it’s already the second Wednesday of the New Year, 2022! I’ve got a fun little link-up post for you. I’m linking up with Shay from MixandMatchMama and Erika from ALittleBitofEverything and talking about how I organize and prepare for the New Year. I feel like I have to start the new month/year with getting a new calendar for our home and writing everything down that is scheduled. We are each a different color. Joey is blue, Addison is purple, and I’m pink. Anything for all of us, or just in general, is in black.  I also have a Life Planner by Erin Condren that I use to keep…

  • **Hello Monday** {1.10.2022}

    Hey Hey Everybody! We are already back to a Monday. The weekends always fly by.  I’m sharing what little we were up to this weekend.  It started out pretty awesome because I felt like I needed some chocolate cookies in my life.  It was really cold Friday night, so Joey built a fire. It was a game night kind of night. We played some Hungry, Hungry Hippo and Zingo. Zingo is always my gift to recommend to any toddler between the ages of 3 & 5. So fun and a great way for students to learn.  After some game time, we finally watched Encanto. It was so good! Have you…

    Happy Friday Everybody! How was your week? Today it’s cold in Georgia. I mean frigid. So, I’m sure if it’s cold here, it’s probably cold where you are.  Per the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing all about our favorites from the week. Addison and I were playing with some Snapchat filters and loved the cartoon one.  Monday morning, we woke up to a dusting of snow.  Addison had Crocs and Crazy socks day this week. We had fun dressing her for school. She loved it!  We have all of our Christmas decor down except the Christmas tree. I just wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the twinkling…

    Monday, I shared Part I of our Christmas Break vacation. If you missed it, check it out here.  Today, I’m sharing the rest of our vacation. Sunday, we got up and went to church.  Sunday night, we had Christmas at my Mom & Dad’s house. She cooked a Prime Rib roast with baked potato and salad. It was delicious!  After some pictures, Addison was excited for present time.  We had so much fun at my Mom & Dad’s, and we are so thankful for time with all of our family this year.  Monday morning, we got up and headed north to North Carolina. Here’s me and my girl at iHOP…

    Happy 2022! Wow, that sounds strange. How was your Christmas and New Years? Despite some sickness, we had a great one! Today and Wednesday, I’m going to share all about the fun we had during our Christmas break.  Joey got off work a little early on the Thursday before Christmas, and Addison and I picked him up and headed toward Stone Mountain to meet up with Britney and her little family.  They had lots of little shows and characters for the kids. We loved it all.  The 4D Polar Express experience was fun!  When we came out of the theater, it was dark, and the parade was about to begin. …

  • **Hello Monday** {12.20.2021}

    Happy Monday! We are on Day 1 of Christmas break and super excited to rest, rejuvenate, and squeeze in lots of daily fun too.  Today, I’m doing a recap of our weekend.  Friday night, she wanted to have a sleepover in our bedroom. I walked in to see this, on my way to bed. Sweet girl.  I made these Red Velvet Cheesecake Bars for Joey’s Dad’s Christmas. They were very tasty and festive too.  Saturday morning, I did the usual, laundry and cleaning. Joey had to go work on a job. Addison and I ran to town to do some last minute shopping. When we all got back home, we decided…
