  • **Halloween Weekend Getaway** {11.3.2021}

    Last weekend, my Aunt Dot, Mom, Addison, and I took off Friday and headed to the mountains. We went to Pigeon Forge, TN. The weather wasn’t predicted to be very good, so we were a little bummed.  We arrived around 4 and decided to go ahead and have an early dinner at the Local Goat, one of our favorites, since we skipped lunch. Lots of laughs were had.  Addison’s awesome photography skills.  We left there and had so much fun at the Three Bears General Store. Acting crazy with the bear. We rushed back to the hotel because Addison was bugging us to death to go swimming. She had the…

  • **Pumpkin Patch Fun** {10.21.2020}

    Sunday afternoon we took off to the pumpkin patch. Pumpkins and all the fun things make me oh so happy! Get ready for lots of pumpkins, ruffles, and bows.  Wagon photos filled with pumpkins are a favorite.  Eeek a skeleton!  Sweet pictures  I really wanted to do the hay ride, however, there was a huge line, and they were not social distancing. We were pretty uneasy with it, so we opted for the corn maze.  They had lots of fun things to do.  This was the same location, just a year apart. This year they didn’t have the trailer decorated. Look how much she has grown! Let me go cry…

  • * Christmas Cheer* {12.4.2019}

    Today, I’m highlighting some things us moms can do to prepare for the Christmas season. I would have loved to have finished this earlier, like in November to help us all remember things we might forget.  But YOU GUYS!  This year/season has snuck up on me.  So, hopefully you’re all ready for the Christmas season, but just in case you’re anything like me and a bit on the struggle bus on December 4th maybe this will come in handy. *** ONLINE SHOPPING*** I used to complete all my shopping in stores and a lot on Black Friday. However, after becoming a Mom and being extremely busy, I complete 90% of…

  • **Thanksgiving Getaway 2019- Part I**

    Happy Monday!! It’s hard to get back into the routine after being off for a week and being gone and getting back into town yesterday afternoon and having to unpack and do loads of laundry…. We decided to go on a little getaway this Thanksgiving up to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We left Wednesday around lunchtime after Joey got home from work. We took our camper and stayed at a really nice campground. Our cousins were camped right next to us, and we enjoyed talking and playing with them.  Right after we got set up, Addison was ready to ride her new bike.  We walked over to the river for a…
