Happy Monday!! We are really counting down until Summer begins. 3 more weeks of school!  We had an awesome weekend! Celebrating our Special Mamas.  Friday, I had a doctor’s appointment. It was okay though because I was able to drop off Addison after the sun was up. I also was able to grab some lunch at La Madeleine. One of my little favorite French bistros. I hadn’t been in years.  After that, I did some shopping… actually in person at one of my favorites….. Nordstrom!!! Another weekend has come and gone, but I am so happy it’s May. I can almost smell the sunscreen and feel my toes in the sand or grass. Whichever. I’d be happy with either right now.  I did the usual cleaning and laundry inside the house Saturday morning. Then, we headed outside to tackle working on the pool. Our cover blew off sometime during the Winter months, and we never slid it back on. So, it needed a lot of work. We drained it and scrubbed it. Hello Beautiful Monday! How was everyone’s weekend? We had a fun, busy weekend!  We started off Friday night, running to get burgers then going by Mom & Dads. They had a surprise for Addison. They got her a butterfly house with some caterpillars who will be turning into butterflies. We will get to watch the process!  While there, Addison had to have a flower. Her rhododendrons are just starting to bloom.  Saturday morning was very rainy. We needed the rain though so we weren’t complaining too much. The only reason we were a little sad was because we were celebrating Adalynn’s birthday. We definitely made the most of the party! …

Happy Monday! The weeks are flying by.. and the weekends. How is everyone today?  We had a great weekend enjoying lots of outside time.  Friday, I picked Mom up after school, and Addison and I all went to the outlets to do some Spring shopping. Addison wanted to pose at all the things. Ha!  Saturday morning, we were up bright and early and eager to work on some things around the house. Hello Monday… I am a little sad you’re already here. We had another beautiful weekend. Now the rain is about to start again and bring cooler temps. A little down about that, but I will take the rain to wash away some of the pollen. It’s killing me.  I wanted to share with you all a trick I discovered. You can go to Starbucks, order a grande of whatever, and request it be put in a venti cup. They charge you for the grande, but fill the venti cup all the way to the top. Well, Monday is here. The weekend flew by again. Our weather, in Georgia, was beautiful!  Friday night, Addison spent the night with my parents. Joey and I had a little date night. These Brussels Sprouts were some of the best I’ve ever had.  They’ve been filming one of the Marvel movies in our downtown area.
