  • **Mother’s Day Weekend** {5.15.2024}

    Hi Friends!! Happy Wednesday! Holy cow May is flying by.  We were so busy over the weekend, that I didn’t have time to do a recap on Monday. So today, I’m sharing a recap of our weekend.  We started off Saturday with our last soccer game.  Addison really wanted to be goalie, so Joey was giving her a pep talk.  She played great and even stopped some balls from going in the goal.  We were so proud of all of these players! They were all so sweet and made so much progress!  Addison had some sweet fans come to the game, his Granny and his Dad and Christy!  Once we…

    Happy Wednesday Everybody!! How’s your week going? I feel like I’m crawling to Friday. Haha!  Today, I’m sharing a recap of our Spring Break. We traveled to Gulf Shores, Alabama. I hadn’t been there in many, many years- college. So, it was good to go back. Today’s post is long. I’m trying to fit it all in one post. 🙂 When we made Spring Break plans a year ago, we didn’t realize it also correlated with Easter. It doesn’t always. Well, it did this year, and we just went with it. We knew our holiday would look a lot different than normal, but we were okay with it.  We left…

    Happy Happy Friday!!! Thank goodness the weekend is here!  Like the norm, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing my favorite things from the week. On Monday, the school had a magic show for student’s who sold items for the school fundraiser. She is so well deserving of this award.  I also had meetings… Meanwhile, Addison was living her best life at my Mom…

  • **Spring Break Recap ~ The Outerbanks** Part I {4.19.2023}

    A couple weeks back was our Spring Break, and we decided to go somewhere different. We chose the Outerbanks because none of us had been there. None of us anticipated the distance to this location. Haha!  We started our journey on Friday, after school, about 5:00.  We made a pit stop and grabbed Addison some more snacks. LOL We ended up stopping to sleep just north of Charlotte about 11:30 that night. Our room was very nice and cozy.  The next morning, we were up bright and early, ate breakfast, then started back on the road. We were excited when we finally saw water. This was crossing the bridge, over…
