  • **Memorial Day Weekend Recap** {6.1.2022}

    Hello Wednesday, and my last official day this school year. Today is our last day of post-planning, so I’ve been boxing my classroom up and moving things, and now I’m ready for a few weeks of relaxation. Today, I’m sharing our last day of school with students and what we did this past weekend.  Here’s my last early morning alarm.  Friday morning, we were up and excited. Here’s a side by side of first day of TK and last day of TK. I can really tell her face has changed. She looks more like an older kid.  Lots of last day pictures.  And here I am with my morning car…

  • **Summer Bucket List** {5.18.2022}

    Happy Wednesday!! Today, I’m sharing our bucket list for the Summer! I can’t believe I’m saying that! We are so excited!!  I asked A earlier this week to think about some things she wants to do this summer! She was super excited and ready to spill all the things she wants to do.  Thinking hard about what she wants to do…. This is what she came up with! She was very happy about it. 😉  Go to Waterpark (Outdoor Aquatic Center) Go to the Park to Play (with friends) Grandpa’s Water Slide (Joey’s Dad has a slip n’ slide, so she definitely wants to do this!) Go to the Beach…

  • **Southwest Chicken Rice Bowls** {5.4.2022}

    Grilling season is here, and I made this delicious recipe the other day and foresee many more nights of making it this Summer! It was So GOOD!! Believe me, if you start making it, you will want it often! You will crave it! Trust Me!  Happy Wednesday and Happy Grilling!  Step 1 – Grill your chicken breasts and some corn (you can use frozen corn… but grilled is always the way to go in my opinion), slice the corn off the cob and slice/dice up the chicken. Step 2 – While the chicken is cooking, cook 1 1/2 cups Basmati rice.  Follow the package directions. Remove it from the heat…

  • ** Fourth of July Trip Recap Part II** {7.21.2021}

    Happy Wednesday! Last week, while chatting about our trip, I left off on Sunday, the Fourth of July. If you missed Part I, read it here. Today, I’m sharing the second part of our trip. At this point of our trip, the weather is getting really iffy. There is a Tropical Storm/Hurricane heading towards Florida, and at this point the meteorologists are not sure which way it’s going to turn and where it’s going to land. Joey really doesn’t want to be in our camper if there’s a hurricane coming, and I don’t really want to either.  Originally, our plan was to leave Panama City Beach, on Monday, and drive…

  • **Friday Favorites** {6.25.2021}

    Hey, Hey! It’s Friday! Happy Friday!! The last Friday of June which is making me very sad! Slow down, Summer!  Today, I’m linking up with the blogs AlittlebitofEverything and Momfessionals and sharing all about our favorites from the week!! We have been doing some school work in the mornings.  She loves digging in the dirt and watering the “plants” with her gardening set.  Anyone who knows me, knows I despise pickles. Especially dill pickles. Joey and Addison love them, so I made them this week with cucumbers from our garden. It’s all out of love, trust me. I can’t stand the smell.  So, back in my college days, my wonderful friends and roommates knew…

Once it returns, during the summer, we try really hard not to get one everyday. 😉 After eating lots of the Lords Chicken, CFA, Joey and Addison snuggled…

  • **Memorial Weekend Recap** {6.2.2021}

    Hey Hey Everybody! Today is my last day of post-planning. As of 3:00 today, I’m done for the summer. Yay!!!  Today, I’m sharing all about our weekend which is only possible because of the brave men & women who fought and sacrificed for our freedoms.  We started off Friday morning saying goodbye to Addison’s school for the summer. We love ya, TCS! See you in August!  Then, we had an emotional goodbye to all the kiddos for the summer. The bus send-0ff gets me every time.  Addison spent the night with Joey’s Dad Friday night. So, Saturday morning, Joey and I ran to Costco and to the grocery store sans…

    Today I’m sharing a whole bunch of fun stuff that would be great for any summer BBQ. Since we have Memorial day coming up, I decided to share things that we love to have around for this special holiday.  Like Chairs…. These are all my favorite chairs.
