**MB Vacation Recap Part II** {6.17.2020}

On Monday, I shared part one of our beach vacation from last week. Read all about it here. Today I’m sharing more from our trip. We enjoyed more cloudy days the second part of our trip, but that didn’t deter us from relaxing and having fun!

We started off at the beach, but had to leave early due to rain. But it gave us a good excuse to go get some…..

…………ice cream. 🙂

We rode bikes and played/tickled in the hammock.

That evening we enjoyed smores in our fire bowl. This is perfect for when you want a fire, but don’t want to worry with the hassle of wood, smoke, etc… This would make a perfect Father’s day gift! And, with it being from Amazon, it could make it in time. 😉

The next day was a lot sunnier, and I actually laid a lot on my stomach. I hate laying on my stomach, so this was a big deal. Of course, my whole backside got burnt.

Mom and Dad said they would keep Addison while we went out for a date night. We ended up going to Lulu’s which is right on the Inner coastal waterway. We enjoyed just sitting and watching boats/huge yachts drive by.

The place we stayed required “free” tickets to go to the pool. They were in 2 hour blocks and were limited to 180 each slot. I never saw a day that had over 40 people, however all the time slots were booked. We finally got one for 9:00 in the morning, and of course it was scheduled to rain. Addison had begged and begged to go to the pool, so Mom and I took her to splash around.

When it started raining harder, we decided to make our way to the indoor pool.

That night we did a few more beach pictures. And yet again, Addison made us laugh like always.

It was very windy… Trying to get a family picture. #nothappening

That’s all for our trip. We had a great time! Can’t wait to go back!! See you back here on Friday! 🙂

xoxo

    My mother in law comes with us on most of our family vacations and I just love when she offers to watch them for an evening or afternoon and my husband and I can get a little time away just the two of us. One year (at Disney) she watched them in the hotel and we walked outside, found a huge hammock and just spent two hours lounging around talking; it was fabulous! It almost felt like mini honeymoon inside our family vacation.
