**Weekend Recap** Mother’s Day 2022 {5.9.2022}

Wow, is it Monday already? We had a very busy weekend celebrating all the Moms in our lives. Today, I’m sharing all about our weekend.

Friday, at school, we enjoyed a salad bar, with our team, for lunch. It was the best thing, and I wish we had been doing it all year.

I went out to recess Friday afternoon to talk with some teachers, and the sky was looking very uneasy. About 15 minutes after this picture was taken, some very strong wind and very hard rain came blowing in. Luckily, we were back inside.

Saturday, we celebrated Joey’s Mom with a lunch at one of our favorite spots. The meal was delicious, as always, and the girls always enjoy playing on the lawn after.

Plus, you can’t beat the view.

And me with my sweeties.

Here I am with the one that made me a Mama on Sunday morning. I love her so.

We had brunch reservations with Mom & Dad at Branchwater. It was delicious!

We had so much food! Everything was great!

Addison thoroughly enjoyed her piece of chocolate cake. 😉

We came back to our house after, and snapped a few pictures while we were still dressed up.

We changed clothes and played outside. The sun finally came out.

My beautiful peony has finally opened up. I love it!

Addison begged and begged to go to the park to ride her bike. On the way, we snapped this picture, in the teepee, advertising the Native American Festival that happened this weekend.

We ran to shop around at TJ Maxx and Home Goods. She saw this little friend and had to have a picture with him. “Mom, he’s my height!” Ha!

We got home. We were all still pretty full, so we just ate some ice cream. Haha! I made lunches, got clothes ready, and we got our baths in preparation for another week. Three weeks to go! I hope you guys have a great start to your week! Come back on Wednesday for a fun link up where I’m sharing about my hometown. Thanks for stopping by!
