  • *Wednesday Check-In** {2.5.2020}

    Happy Wednesday!! How is everyone doing? I don’t know about you guys, but I’m already feeling better about myself since moving on to a new month. January was long.  Today’s post is short and sweet because we have a lot going on this week. Monday night, we had dance. Last night, we had data night at school until 8. With that said, it’s been difficult keeping things running on the home front. Thankfully, Joey was available and able to keep our house going.  ************************************************************** Here’s what we are eating this week!   • * Christmas Cheer* {12.4.2019}

    Today, I’m highlighting some things us moms can do to prepare for the Christmas season. I would have loved to have finished this earlier, like in November to help us all remember things we might forget.  But YOU GUYS!  This year/season has snuck up on me.  So, hopefully you’re all ready for the Christmas season, but just in case you’re anything like me and a bit on the struggle bus on December 4th maybe this will come in handy. *** ONLINE SHOPPING*** I used to complete all my shopping in stores and a lot on Black Friday. However, after becoming a Mom and being extremely busy, I complete 90% of…

  • **Thanksgiving Getaway 2019- Part I**

    Happy Monday!! It’s hard to get back into the routine after being off for a week and being gone and getting back into town yesterday afternoon and having to unpack and do loads of laundry…. We decided to go on a little getaway this Thanksgiving up to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We left Wednesday around lunchtime after Joey got home from work. We took our camper and stayed at a really nice campground. Our cousins were camped right next to us, and we enjoyed talking and playing with them.  Right after we got set up, Addison was ready to ride her new bike.  We walked over to the river for a…

  • Girl’s day for Addison’s Birthday {11.20.19}

    I took off last Friday, and we celebrated Addison’s birthday with a girl’s trip to American girl store and bistro. My sister n’ law, niece, and mother n’ law went with us. The weather was yucky, and the girls insisted on using the umbrella.  They played for a little bit before our reservation.  Then it was time for lunch. The girls were cute “feeding” their dolls.  We took a last picture with the tree then went to ride the carousel.  We had a great day celebrating our little ray of sunshine. See you back here on Friday for Friday Favorites!  xoxo

  • Grandparent’s Day 2019

    Happy Hump Day!! We had a great day visiting with all the grandparent’s on Grandparent’s Day! Addison and her cousin, Adalynn made these crafts. They were so sweet sharing them. I found them on Pinterest here.  I printed the poem and reduced the size to 75%. I got the paint, frames, and scrapbook paper at Michaels and glued it on cardstock to make it stronger. You don’t have to put them in a frame. It would be just as cute hanging on the fridge.  We went to eat Sunday night at a cute, little restaurant about an hour away. They had some yummy pizza. All with very fresh ingredients.  We…

  • **Long Weekend Shenanigans** Part Two {Sept 2019}

    Happy Wednesday!!! We had such a great weekend that I couldn’t fit it into one post. So, this is part two of our Labor Day Weekend!  Sunday morning we got up and just lazed around… After breakfast we got ready and decided to pack a picnic lunch and go find a park. We loved looking at all the geese. However, there was poop everywhere!  We left there and went to visit Joey’s Granny. We hadn’t seen her in a few weeks, so it was good to visit and let Addison love on her. Addison loves playing with all her toys. She knows exactly where they are and goes straight to…

  • **Long Weekend Shenanigans** Part One {Sept. 2019}

    What a great weekend!! We definitely tried to cram it full of lots of fun, family things… I feel rested and ready for the week… almost… haha!  We had had a long month week, so I decided to do something special Friday evening. Despite the 90 plus degree weather, I got some things at the store to make smores. We had so much fun, and they were yummy! We were a little toasty sitting by the fire. We enjoyed just sitting and relaxing after a long week….  I needed to make a pound cake for Joey’s Granny’s get together the next day… I had a great, little helper. šŸ˜‰  Addison…
